5 Quick Tips on How to Decorate with Floor Vases

By Chris Barret

The flexibility of a floor vase can work wonders for any room regardless of the chic design. The many to choose from make shopping for the perfect one an exciting quest! Here are a number of ways you can tie the exquisite textures, styles, and colors of any floor vase into a room needing that little extra something.
Fill in an Empty Space Put the floor vase in any extra space you have to bring the room in. We all have that one corner that isn’t big enough for another shelf, but definitely needs something. A floor vase is just the thing to fill these spaces and finish off the room.
Group 3-5 Vases Together Grouping several floor vases together is a simple solution to eliminating the empty look of a medium sized corner or wall space. Try grouping several vases similar in design, but different in size for a fresh look.
Accent with Fillings Fill the floor vase with dried wheat grass or branches to give a natural look and add texture to your room. You could also try adding silk flowers or plants to throw in a little pop of color. If you want to go all out try putting a bouquet of fresh cut flowers, this will also put off a wonderful scent.
Accentuate Tall Windows or French Doors You can use floor vases to accent a tall window or French doors. This will bring the eye down and wrap the look of your treatments into the rest of the room. It is always best to condense looks with something serving as a frame, in this case that would be the floor vase.
Accentuate Furniture Place the floor vase beside shelves, entertainment centers, or other furniture needing a fresh look. The floor vase will create clean lines making a better focal point for your room. To really draw in the eyes, place similar style floor vases on both sides of the piece you would like to draw attention to.
